Chemistry startup NorthMiRs wins $250k to develop heart failure treatment for sepsis patients

PhD candidates Logan Zettle and Samantha McWhirter, along with Professor Gilbert Walker from U of T's Department of Chemistry, have developed a promising new treatment for sepsis. Their startup, NorthMiRs, recently won $250,000 in funding to advance their research.
