U of T Computer Science graduate Ali Zaheer is the co-founder of TransCrypts, a startup helping Ukrainian healthcare organizations and refugees access medical records securely with blockchain technology. Recently, TransCrypts is expanding to help those impacted by earthquakes in Turkey.
In January 2023, TransCrypts raised $2.4 million in pre-seed funding, led by Mark Cuban and Protocol Labs, with participation from Techstars, Alumni Ventures, and more.
